Bloody Jeans!

My lifelong battle finding jeans continues……

I went to my nearby shopping centre yesterday and looked in Marks, Next and River Island, but the jeans were either wide legged, ankle length or stretchy. All a no from me!

Can anyone advise where I can find some mid or high rise, straight legged jeans that aren’t ankle length or stretchy. I’m a size 16.

I don’t mind spending up to £100 and buying online.

M & S slim fit cropped jeans are great, but I buy long length despite being 5’6”. It means they end up being a length I like - just slightly cropped. Comfortable for me too, without much (if any) Lycra in the fabric.

Was in the shop the other day with DH. Loads of shapes. Not stretchy.

Any Levi straight leg. I have 501 90s and they're 100% cotton. Straight leg, mid rise.

Not jeans but denim, i bought some mint velvet balloon denim trousers and they are very flattering and perfect for the warmer weather.

I second Abercrombie. Maybe the 90s mid rise they have in at the moment. Also a high rise version I think.

501s are another good shout.

I don’t think 501s would go up to a 16, would they? That could be a shout if they do though.

I’ve just checked the website and they do! Will pop unit he store next time I’m in town and try some on. 👍
