Light boxy jacket for summer

We've booked a last min holiday for next month and the weather should be sunny but cooler in the evenings. Looking for your recommendations for a light jacket in a modern boxy style (perhaps quilted) that I could throw on instead of a cardigan for dinner & walks in the evening. Also for UK in the summer months. Thank you

I just bought a jersey boxy jacket from Uniqlo in dark grey. Wearing with dresses more than jeans but it could work with both. £39 I think? It’s nice and more flattering than other boxy styles

What budget? What colour? What sort of style? What brands do you normally like? Do you want a collar?

I wouldn't get a quilted one because they look a lot warmer than they are.

I’ve just bought a boxy heavy linen shirt with 3/4 sleeves for exactly that purpose.
I looked all over London for something suitable but found one when we got back in Tesco for £18, of all places. It’s a really dark chocolate colour and is perfect, looks really classy over a dress or with pale trousers. Buy a size bigger.

Budget under £60, open to colour and patterns. I like the style of those quilted jackets but all the ones I have seen look like they would be too warm. I like Hush, Fat face, Zara. Would be to wear over floaty midi dresses and loose trousers

Will have a look, I have a black uniqlo jacket but it's quite thick

Sounds ideal!
