Starch

I wear natural fibres, which of course need ironing. I do iron them, but I still look creased and crumpled very quickly. If I use starch, will I get a better finish, and will I stay looking neater for longer?

Yes

Next question: how do I use it? I cannot use spray starch as I’m allergic to the additives in it.

Google ‘non-spray laundry starch’ - there seem to be several options. (I’m sure I remember seeing a block of starch being used in laundry, either at home or school, when I was a child! But I’ve always used a spray so no experience of that.)

You can buy starch powder (my local hardware shop who sell all sorts of useful laundry stuff) have it. You can then add it (you add to water first I think) to the final rinse
