Outfit needed for an 18th granddaughters day out. I'm 66 and overweight.

My 3 granddaughters all turn 18 in may. They want to go to Liverpool for a meal, drinks and somewhere to dance.
There will be 7 of us travelling on the train. The younger ones are dressing to the nines.
What do I wear. I'm 66, 5ft 1 and a size 18.
It will be during the day so not nightclub outfits thankfully.

I'd suggest that a leather/pleather jacket looks good at any age and more youthful rather than ageing, with fitted top underneath and maybe wide leg trousers or a nice long skirt.

Nice cross body bag so you have hands free for any dancing (and there may day-time clubs open - I know it's quite a thing in Birmingham so imagine it may be in Liverpool too)

Have an AWESOME time! they’ll love that their nan is out on the town to celebrate with them!

Wear whatever you like! A nice top with jeans can’t go wrong… maybe (dancing) boots - every time I’ve been Liverpool i feel like I’ve walked miles. Can you all get your hair and nails done to set you up?

Tick for the jumpsuit maybe in another colour perhaps a blue.
Good shout about a jacket. I prefer crossbody bags.
Meal is already booked for lunch on a Saturday. And not far is a place for dancing which is also not far from the station. Going on the 11.30am train and returning on the 7.30pm one.

Loads of jumpsuits about. Also, these trousers won't be for everybody but I think they are lovely!
