Parka jacket recommendations (good quality)

Hi all,

Since the weather is changing and we are no longer in Winter, I am looking for a lightweight, good quality parka-style jacket to wear to work. I prefer navy/black, and I am a curvy size 18.

I normally buy my jackets from H&M and New Look, but I find the quality to be quite poor these days. I'd like something that will last a long time.

I buy most of my things from Vinted and have bought 3 waterproof jackets for the summer. A good waterproof make will be labelled inside to show how waterproof and wind proof they are. Trespass are very nice and look smart. Lighthouse is another good brand. I paid less than £10 each for thise and they look like new. I always check measurements of a garment against my own as sizing varies wildly amongst brands. Other brands to consider would be Uniqlo, Berghaus and possibly M&S - new or preloved

Are Vinted good quality?

Some things are brand new ir barely worn You filter what you want

Have you never heard of Vinted? It’s a marketplace/app people use to sell unwanted clothes.

In answer to your question, have you tried Seasalt?

Yes it's an online shop, like ebay, clothes can be secondhand or new with Tags from sellers who are selling stuff they have bought on.

I have just looked on the Seasalt website and can't find anything close to what I am looking for!
Just to add, I am looking for a light Parka that isn't too long, just over my bottom. don't like those long Parka's that go down to your legs.

Well I think we have all tried to be of help. Hope you find what you need. There are loads of jackets out there.Try looking online at all the outdoor shops, Amazon, John Lewis, Joules, Seasalt, Uniqlo
