Possibly growing a facial wart

I’m 61.
What started as a tiny lump and I picked at it, it now won’t heal. I don’t really care about wrinkles sagging and sun damage and have a very simple skin care routine, Im 61.

I know it’s vain of me, but I’m really against having a wart. any advice?

You should look into cryopen therapy, it removes warts really easily.

It works by deep freezing the wart off. Doesn't hurt and is completely non invasive. You can have it done at a beauty salon.

I has a skin tag removed like this and it only took one session. Cost me £25. Took 2 weeks to heal back to brand new skin, there's not a single sign in ever had a blemish there.

Any questions, im happy to answer. X

I would get it checked out ,anything that doesn't heal should be checked by the GP.

Get it checked out. It might be nothing. Or it might be something.

Had similar on my forehead, was a carcinoma. Simple to remove

Thanks both.

I know, I think it’s not healing cos I’m picking it though

@Rhubarbx1should this be unbroken skin before treatment?

I had a basal cell carcinoma frozen off before but that was very dry and this is different. I don’t want to put a plaster on my face but might have to!

It needs checking before you do anything else

I have had BBC three times and each one was different. One like eczema, one like a spot and one just a red patch.

Treatment can only be done on unbroken skin.

Stop picking it, let it heal and see how it heals up. If you're concerned gets a doc appointment, especially if it doesn't heal.

Tea tree oil

Thanks all. Starting this thread has given me the motivation to stop picking. It’s looking abit better, once it’s healed I’ll get GP to have a look and take it from there.

I had one of these on my nose and it is a precancerous lesion.
