I work in a chilly basement office and I usually wear uniqlo trousers with a blouse and sweater vest type outfit. I'm getting a bit tired of this and would prefer to layer with a more modern look. 5'4" and used to be size 8/10, could wear anything I like, but alas, after 55 now looking more at 12/14. Things I used to wear don't suit any more. I really like the COS base layer tops as an alternative to wear under cardigans or light blazers. Does anyone over 45 have any experience with them? I think they would be great for layering, but I have the uniqlo heattech tops and they just wouldn't look right at all without a sweater on top. I see on the COS website that they are spot on for much younger very slim models.
