Royal Style: Summer's lease will soon be here, as will summer style, we hope!

Prince Richard and his wife came to the school where I used to be a governor and I met them. They are both very nice people.

I think the life of one of their daughters or the Kent granddaughters would be the most fun. You'd get access to the jewels and invites to the big events but you could still live a relatively private life.

I really rate her, and she's a good example of someone who has found her style. She's very elegant and confident, and often styles with a twist.

I've just checked - Birgitte is 79, the same age as Camilla. I agree with Deftly about the younger members of the cadet branch - you can get a good seat at important events and wear the bling, but still have a private life.

I think this is the outfit you mean @KiIIingMeDeftly - it's from 2018 and really striking. I think she's probably softened her look a little since then.

And another 'break from tradition' - Camilla is at the Badminton Horse Trials in a trouser suit.

There's a picture of Camilla in jeans and a shirt it was to do with reading to children. I thought she looked absolutely perfect that day.

And here is Anne arriving at a dinner in London last night wearing the outfit that she wore at Edward and Sophie’s wedding in 1999.

Only 27 years old.. I rather like the green, but not with the black gloves.

Camilla is dressed like she's her own PPO!

I agree, black gloves and bag very wintry. Having seen her get into the car, she looked clumpy and awkward - perhaps the skirt length and shape isn't her?

William and Catherine host a garden party today

Kate looks lovely - the skirt is gorgeous when she's moving.
If that's Za in the background, it looks a nice colour and not too trussy, so thumbs up there too!😆

I like the skirt, not so keen on the big black buttons on the top but Kate loves her buttons! Though is it a skirt and top or one of her Self-Portrait dresses?

See now, Zara is the royal I would be, all the fun bits, front and centre, as niece and cousin to the King and PoW, in the family and formalish stuff, but totally having your own life.

Love Catherine’s outfit. The buttons tying in with the black hat band all works imo. I also love the colour of Zara’s outfit. Williams tails and trousers seem well tailored too

I like Kate's outfit, the colour and proportions are good and I like that the skirt is light.

Some more pictures. I like Sophie's hat and pale blue dress, she looks elegant. A close up of Zara's dress, I love the colour, but the fabric is a bit shiny.

I like all the ladies’ garden party looks - that new Self-Portrait outfit from Kate is lovely and we’ll doubtless see it at a Garter Day too.

Kate's a winner with polka dots for me. Sophie's dress a lovely shade of blue. Zara, odd Fabric.

I love Kate’s spotty skirt and don’t mind the jacket but I don’t like the hat much - it looks a bit too small and flat with the floaty skirt. I think Sophie has nailed. It - she looks fabulous. I quite like Zara’s dress and really like her embroidered clutch bag - it would be perfect for my holiday…

It’s a dress. She’s switched the belt though, it comes with a black belt which blends with the buttons much better in my view.

I think Kate, Sophie and Zara look great.

Sorry I don’t like Kate’s look today. It’s all a bit thrown together. The styles of hat, top and skirt don’t t gel for me

Kate’s outfit is actually a dress, not a skirt and jacket, I love the flow of the dress, but don’t particularly like the square neckline though. William looks very dapper.
