Do these wedding shoes look unsuitable for very wide feet?

Hi everyone
I recently bought these louboutins for my wedding which I searched far and wide for. I have very wide feet but I am also very paranoid about my feet! I am still in the returns window do my feel just look too wide for these? Please be very honest as they were a lot of money and I can take it! 😂

They're very pretty but not sure how comfy they'll be when worn all day!

PhaedraTwo · 14/04/2026 22:10

They look like instruments of torture, regardless of what sort of feet you have.

I don't like that style of sandal but your feet look fine. They don't look wide.

tartyflette · 14/04/2026 22:13

But your feet don’t look that wide! When I was younger I could absolutely wear shoes like that all day.(and often did)
Not so much these days. But if you can do it, go for it!
They are very pretty and your feet look lovely.

PottingBench · 14/04/2026 22:15

They're lovely.

Honestly they absolutely are but I will take some short pain and then change into flip flops 😂😂

They’re gorgeous but look agony

TheyGrewUp · 14/04/2026 22:21

They're pretty but I don't think they do your feet any favours. Also pain, however short, shows in the face.

Bigearringsbigsmile · 14/04/2026 22:23

I'd honestly send them back if they are in any way uncomfortable. Nobody is going to be looking at your feet. Choose something comfy.

owlpassport · 14/04/2026 22:25

I don't like them at all. They also cross your foot at the widest part and they're not flattering. They don't look like expensive shoes. Return.

SleepingisanArt · 14/04/2026 22:28

I'd send them back. Your toes look squashed in them and that's not what you need for your wedding. You say you'll change into flip flops - does that mean your wedding is somewhere hot? Your feet might swell in the heat making the shoes even more uncomfortable and your toes will be really squished!

CoastalCalm · 14/04/2026 22:28

They look like they will cause instant soreness if not blisters and would you wear them again afterwards ? Honestly go for comfort , you’ll be on your feet for hours taking photos and greeting guests etc

Agree.

I don’t think your feet look wide at all but my god they look uncomfortable 😂

Farkinhell · 14/04/2026 22:36

They don't made your feet look too wide but they're not very flattering, and would be very easy to trip in as they're not supportive at all.

Short walk from car down aisle with no steps/cobblestones then fine... Anything else I'd avoid. So if it's a hot day the clear plastic bits will be sweaty and slippy

How long is your dress? Would they be seen?

FTMaz · 14/04/2026 22:36

Thanks everyone - yes I can already tell they will hurt! I also like these which I haven’t tried on but thinking maybe would be more flattering and more comfortable. I think I would wear the original ones I posted again though but not sure what I’d wear these with because the look so formal in my opinion!

My dress is long but fitted so they been seen as I walk if that makes sense.

How long is your wedding dress? If full length and covering feet, then I'd get something more comfy and flattering.

If a shorter tea length dress and showing feet, I'd definitely be getting something more comfy and flattering.

Sorry, I don't know if they are your feet in the pics, but I'd personally choose shoes which don't show the beginnings of bunions. They cut across the widest part of the foot and those massive, plastic lumps on the shoe are dreadful IMO. I say this as someone with the widest, hobbit feet you could think of!

It’s full length but fitted so you see the shoes when walking. They actually aren’t bunions I’ve always had those horrid sticky out bones even as a child! 😂 they are crystals on the shoe so they’re really shiny I don’t think the lighting is doing the shoes itself justice!

I really like them, they're beautiful and your feet don't look wide in them either

PhaedraTwo · 14/04/2026 23:06

Are these the shoes?

They're so far out of my comfort zone, literally and metaphorically, my opinion is irrelevant but the first pair is nicer than the silver.

Yes - hence needing to be very sure!

You definitely need something lower on the heel height. Both look very uncomfortable 😐

ApolloandDaphne · 15/04/2026 03:58

Buy shoes that are comfortable and that you can walk in properly. You will look silly if you are hobbling down the aisle. There are many beautiful shoes out there. I'm sure the lovely people on here can help you find some.

minnowonthesay · 15/04/2026 05:47

They are so beautiful and do suit you, if they were £600 I’d say keep them, but at £1500 I’m not so sure, unless your Godfather is paying for them 😂 What a pity you can’t hire shoes like you can hire dresses.
