And I bought it online and when I went to Liberties to get my makeup done, the Trinny makeup artist said I didn't need it.

Rubbish. A bit like rubbing a drier type of Vaseline into your pores and forehead. Made no difference.

No but I love Trinny makeup in general, particularly the BFF tinted moisturiser, the eye concealer/serum and the eye shades.

Oh, is it a bit like Porefessional by Benefit then? It’s a really good product, but same consistency as what you’re describing!

I didn’t know it had been reformulated so may give it another go.

i tried the original and found it too thick to blend and it seemed to dry out very quickly too in the pot which made it even thicker.

Anyone recommend something similar?

i used one by a brand called Prescriptives many years ago but its now only available through a US website - it was in a tube and was amazing stuff.
