Help with top for wide leg jeans

I’ve just bought some wide like jeans. I’m a classic pear. Size 14 bottom and 10-12 on top. I’m 40 and not stylish. I need help with what to pair on top an what shoes please.

Pears should have more distinctive tops and plainer bottoms. I think if your trousers are wide-leg, you top should be more fitted and defined. So brighter and patterned tops.

Shoes are versatile - chunkier trainers, loafers etc

I would actually wear a top that would balance out your curvier bottom. So something with puffy sleeves or a boat neck Breton stripe.
