Bra/slip combo?? Does such a thing exist?

I am in need of a full peteitcoat/slip but with a real holding up bra involved. To wear under a fancy evening dress or a flowey summer holiday frock.
I have no idea if such a garment exists.

rather than a full shapewear type bodysuit slip thing. although I could do with the tum support they are so nasty I can’t wear them. They hurt my inside guts.

I have vision of a proper bra top end with a soft flowey slip to knee length. So the girls are held up, with slip skimming the tum and hips. Coverage but not sucked in.

Yes, I have something similar. Came from a lingerie section. Put 'lingerie dress underwired' into Amazon and there are lots with proper underwired cups

Oh fab thanks. I couldn’t for the life of me, explain what I actually needed in a search

If that doesn’t show up the right sort of thing, can’t you just wear a full slip over your bra as normal? If the straps are going awry you could safety pin them together :)

I have been searching for a proper bra slip for ages - started a thread about it a couple of years ago.

what I don’t want is one of those shaping slips

so far, I have compromised by wearing my bra OVER a thin silk slip. This keeps the slip straps in place.

That's a blast from the past. Bra slips were all the rage in the late 60s. I had a very pretty fuchsia flowered one.

This does not help the OP. Apologies.

I have one with moulded cups that came from Uniqlo years ago, havn't seen one there since so try to look after it.

I don't have one but have been eyeing up these from bravissimo, they're not wired so might not have enough support for you. I would be wearing them under dresses if i got one.

Oh yes, the Uniqlo ones - done in collaboration with a Japanese designer. I bought one , it was too tight but kept it anyway. Must try it on now I’ve lost weight

Uniqlo have some great tops and dresses with sewn-in cups from year to year

Ooh possibles. Can pop in an M&S and do a try on. I wonder if it’ll give enough of a lift to my menopausal boob. Worth a try though thanks.
the bravissamo one is also anpossible and nicely on sale so I’ll order and give it a go!
