Just turned 40… I need something for forehead lines. I’ve had what I can only describe as a dent in my forehead I guess is where the 11s is a 1s… it depends on the lighting but it’s just awful! I need to do something about it for me. To me, it feels like I have a literal dent in my forehead but maybe it’s just a very bad line. Either way I need to do something about it to make me feel less self conscious. I’m not into beauty treatments etc. so this is the first thing I’ve would have had done. Worried about bad side effects. But I just need to do something…!

I have one and have had it since long before Botox was a thing. I used to fixate on it but honestly I rarely think about it now. It's such a tiny part of the whole you, don't let it give you grief.
And a fringe can help 😁

I had my first dose of Botox two weeks ago for the same thing, as I had one big line. I’m 38. It was fine, just a few injections and done, no side effects. It took about a week but the line is completely gone.

Don’t be scared, make sure you go to a professional. You won’t regret it!

The dream… I don’t suppose you have any before and after forehead pics? I just don’t know where to start looking for someone. I’m near London. I hear horror stories about droopy eyelids etc. (which I feel I already have regardless…that’s another issue!)

I had a fringe when I was younger and not sure I can go back to one 😅 but that may be a last resort!

This is the easiest place to fix with Botox. I know people will tell you to leave it but I prefer not to look grumpier than I actually am. A tiny bit there wouldn't even be noticeable to people if you didn't tell them, it's when people get the whole frozen forehead that it's obvious.

Twilightstarbright · 09/04/2026 07:46

I get migraine Botox by a neurologist and she does my 11/1 line and I’ve never had any drooping eyelids etc, just go to someone experienced and qualified and follow the aftercare advice.

Sorry, I was on the train back from a night out when I typed that I meant oh gosh don't worry it's really not a worrying procedure. I've been having it for about 10 years to get rid of frown lines and it's just brilliant.

I had fruit peel did the job but lasted longer - 10 years!
