What colour shirt and green waistcoat for teenage boy at wedding?

Hi! Just after advice about what colour shirt to buy for my 14 yo DS for a wedding. He is very close family to the bride and groom but not in the wedding party. I said I'd buy him a waistcoat and they said to get green. He will be wearing beige or navy chinos. I'm guessing a white shirt? He has a brown jacket but that will only be if he gets cold. Not likely as will be spring in Australia. Has to be able to ship to Australia too. Oh and still looking for the green waistcoat size small mens. Any ideas appreciated. Thanks

Well it's gone three in the morning here but I'm awake. So I agree white. Or if he's up for it, why not a funky pattern with some green in it? Like something from Joe Browns?

They've got a light green linen shirt but it might be too much with the green waistcoat.
So maybe white is best. But here's the linen one. Preview is blue but comes in green too!
