Walking/hiking trainer recommendations

Hello, I’m looking for a pair of trainers suitable for country walks and trail hikes in the summer. I have good boots, but looking for something lighter for the summer months, and preferably slightly stylish if possible. Thanks!

If you want lighter, try trail shoes.

I have Salomon Sense Ride shoes I use for walking and they are brilliant. Light, airy, the option to not have laces.

Edited because I gave you my OTHER shoes which are for hiking. They are Scarpas and they are great, too!

Inov-8 are a great British brand for trail shoes.

I can recommend Oboz which is actually relatively hard to find these days - they are extremely well made and promise to plant a tree for every pair sold. We use them for exactly the purpose you have in mind -walking when you want to get out of your winter wellies or full on walking boots.
