First time botox help

I had 50 units of botox in the forehead and glabella lines 9 days ago - this was my first time. For the first 6 days the product seemed to be working, my lines were smooth - movement was reduced. From day 7 the movement has come back - as have the wrinkles. I spoke to my injector and she said 'this is likely because you haven't had your two week top up and your muscle activity is starting to return'... How is this possible when she used 50 units? Shouldn't it be settling by two weeks - not returning to movement. Please help.

You should follow the instructions of your injector

It’s takes up to 2 weeks for it to settle in and work. But a top up appointment is often necessary to catch any missed areas, my injector is very careful around eyebrows due to drooping so I usually need a top up around there. I wouldn’t worry yet, see how you are after the top up.
