Just that really. I am going to New York on a business trip in two weeks' time. What would you buy, be that from Walgreens or Bergdorf Goodman, that I can't get here or is so much cheaper over there, please?

Unfortunately the heady days of the 1990’s/2000’s when you could hoover up cheap Levi’s and Gap clothes in the US have gone.

BUT cosmetics still seem good value. Prices in Sephora for the over priced make up and skin care my teenage DD loves are good - so a branded lip tint that would be say £20 in UK is maybe $18.

I went 3 years ago. Was very excited about shopping but they had the same shops and because the $ wasn’t good for us it was expensive.
