Has QVC changed its refund policy on opened beauty returns?

Has qvc changed their refund policy, I just returned a balance and brighten laura geller as I ordered fair but it was darker than my medium, I had tried it, it was sent back within the time to get refund with postage, but I only got refund of item,not postage, it now says on the website if open no postage refund,

I've been using QVC for years and they've never refunded postage unless there's a specific problem with the item. Did you explain to them that the colour was actually wrong? I mean, not just your choice but technically wrong.

In that situation, I would phone and explain and then get the free postage label sent out - that's when they would refund the initial postage charge paid as well - I buy most of my beauty stuff from them so it has happened and they're normally helpful

I was fine with the first Laura Geller I ordered. But the second one was meant to be the same as the first, medium, and it absolutely wasn't! It was at least two shades darker!

It's put me off Laura Geller to be honest I don't really understand the marbling technique but it has worked for me before - just don't want all the fact of sending it back when it's clearly not the colour it is meant to be

Thanks, yes that's what I will do, I have medium which is ok in summer so ordered fair which is 2 shades lighter but it was the same shade as medium.
