Please please help me with jeans!!

I had a baby 18 months ago and i feel like the trend for jeans has changed sooo much since the last time I bought them and i feel so clueless!!

Pre baby I wore dark denim skinny jeans but I feel so dated wearing them now. But equally not sure the trend for barrel jeans etc suit me either !

Can anyone please recommend where I can get some nice jeans ? And what shape should I be going for? I did order some straight leg jeans from M&S but they just didn’t look right

There’s only one thing for it and that’s to go and try on a whole load! I love the new wide leg styles, they suit me much better, but even within the same brand the same waist size can be completely different and it’s wildly frustrating. A big John Lewis is a good place to start.
