Petite shops help!

Would any petites mind telling me where they are shopping at the moment - or let me in on any secrets re brands where a regular size can work.

I’m a smidgeon over 5ft and not having much luck looking for new summer clothes this year.

I have just started following the petite lady on Instagram for recommendations, hopefully will get some good tips. I’ve also just done a trousers order from Anthropologie they have the rise and inside seam length detailed on the website. A revelation! Probably nothing will fit when it arrives all the same

Abercrombie and M&S has trousers in different leg lengths. Uniqlo trousers can be altered when shopping online or instore for free. Cropped jumpers or tops work well for me as do kids ranges in H&M or Zara.
Topshop is also good and recently I've discovered Levi 501s cropped with a 26" leg length which is ankle length for me and great for the spring/summer with trainers or loafers or winter with boots.

Thanks - Will definitely follow the IG account suggested. Trousers are the absolute bain as although my BMI is just under 22, I have a very in and out curvy shape.

Next and M&S are still the main ones for me, although M&S has now got extra short trousers and their short length seems to be longer.

I also use Roman for work trousers and White Stuff for petite dresses. I wish Vinted had a petite search filter!

I find the biggest issue with trousers is that they don’t shorten the rise and so even if the length is ok the crotch isn’t!

The Petite Lady is a great Instagram account. She does a tried and tested regularly so you can actually see petite clothes on a petite body.

CrewCompany on line for petite crops and trousers
M&S for short length trousers and petite jackets not a huge range but handy for daily wear.
i can wear standard tops but need petite for dresses, jackets, cardigans and jumpsuits as I need shorter arm length and narrow shoulders.
its tricky though, takes a lot of research and rarely find anything when out shopping now!

Yes it’s not just length that’s the issue, it’s overall fit. I have issues with necklines, shoulders, sleeves, waists, the whole lot! Petite needs to mean petite all over.

I feel like I’m between a petite and a regular if that’s possible? I think I have length in my legs but my body is short. Regulars are often too long but short/ petite are too short 😄
