I had two amazing replica bags in the 2000s bought from EBay. The first I bought in good faith, it was cream and an absolute beauty, heavy as sin and beautiful heavy hardware. I did realise fairly soon it was a very good replica. Fabulous quality leather though and I spent £120ish on it and didn’t feel too conned. I a few years later bought a replica knowingly for £100ish that was black and equally good quality.
Anyway, 20 years later my budget is a little bigger but not enough to stretch to a genuine article! They’ve made a comeback and are now like £2k.
I’ve been trying to find what used to be called AAA replicas and failing. They all have good leather and nice padlock but randomly have silver zipper where the rest is all matte gold.
Any tips?
I do now have multiple Marc Jacobs level bags and a Gucci disco, but can’t stretch to Chloe prices sadly and happy with a replica!
