I’m interested to know what brand everyone is using for foundation. My 55 year old skin is starting to get patchy,, I’m prone to red cheeks as well but I do use a green colour corrector for that. I keep seeing adverts for Luxe foundation on Facebook and im loathe to spend any more money on another useless foundation.

With the Eborian CC cream, I'm looking at thd Porcelain and Clair colours. The Clair looks quite pinky and I'm more neutral undertones. Anyone able to give any guidance - I used to go for beige chiffon in clinique, or N12 in Mac if that's any help?

I’m fair with neutral undertones and wear nude/dor in Eborian CC cream. The lighter ones are very light. I think that’s probably a better shade for you to try. I can wear Clair but nude/dor is better.

How do you apply? Slightly damp sponge works best for me.

I use my fingers and a very old perscriptives foundation brush (I'm not sure if they are still going) I could try a damp sponge round my nostril area. Nothing to lose. Thanks for suggestion.

That's so helpful - I'd never have thought to look at those colours.

I’m 40 and pale /pinky red skin. I fine the erborian cc nice but too orange. I’ve tried pretty much every cc/bb cream going and the stand out it Dr Jart in the lightest shade. Cool toned, great for redness and I get compliments everytime I wear it.

I’m a big Erborian fan but I use the BB rather than the CC cream now instead of foundation. It stays on all day and I can feel the hydration. Game changer for me

I’ve been meaning to try the BB cream, good to know it’s more long wearing because it that is my struggle with the CC cream, but to be fair its not billed as long lasting
