Summer work shoes/ sandals

i’m looking for a unicorn of shoes/sandals for work this summer.

• closed toe (this is essential as I work in a lab)
• goes with dresses
• pale/ neutrals
• comfy - I’m on my feet a lot so need some structure and not fully flat
• not too ugly / frumpy.

I usually wear brogues/ oxfords in the winter - I have a nice pair of embassy London shoes.

Feel like I might be asking too much though. Budget up to £100 but could stretch if very good fit.

The first pair are ok but I don’t like the 2nd pair you have suggested. And are the Birkenstocks worth £125 for very plain shoes? Which I suppose depends on how comfy they are really. They would go with everything which is a massive plus. 🤔

Someone on here recommended FitFlop Mary Jane's. I wasn't sure but ordered some, and their ballet shoes

I’m thinking of getting a more summery pair on embassy shoes and put off thinking about sandals until later.

The Dansko Rowan or Naturalista Wakatua. Both very comfortable.

Thank you - it is hard to get closed toe with out going frumpy or totally flat (which I find make my feet feel tired after a long day).

Someone on another thread suggested these Etsy and I would love opinions on them as some of the options look like they might work.

Yes just checked and it was you. Was such a good shout. Thank you. Bought the MJ's in Leopard print for wearing with trousers and a couple of sets of ballet flats in different colours, which once they have softened up a bit will be so comfortable.

I don't really notice them. They ‘re really comfortable to wear as well.

Anyone tried the loafers? I might give these a go.
