What top to wear with black ankle grazer trousers for a night out?

I am so not trendy but equally am not too fussed about being super in fashion. However, would love to wear my black tapered/ankle grazer trousers to a night out and wondered what top would be best without looking like work wear? I do love a blouse.

A sparkly vest or t-shirt.

Budget? Preferences re. colour, fabric, general style/vibe? What sort of night out?

High street budget or something I can find on Vinted. Prefer jewel colours or navy. I am out of touch of any vibe but would like to be more of a classic/polished look than anything too edgy. Not bothered what fabric.

I wear a top like this with mine, I got it from Next a few months ago but can't seem to find it on their website now

What about one of the off the shoulder wrap type tops or bardot top tucked in with a nice belt and jewellery?

I was going to suggest a Bardot top too....in any colour that suits you.
With black pants you can afford to splash on colour.
