Where to shop for a quirky summer formal dress in the UK?

Could anyone recommend a dress or a place to start shopping for a quirky dress for a formal setting in the summer?
I’m going somewhere where there is not a dress code as such but people like to have fun with what they wear.
I feel like I’m missing something with my Google searches and I’m just not looking in the right place.

What’s your budget, favourite colours, any other parameters?

I would probably start with Anthropologie, Farm Rio, Rixo, Wolf & Badger, Sister Jane, and then if you find something with the right vibe do a Google search for similar

Budget probably up to £200 but would spent more if i had to.
I like navy blues and dusky pinks. Golds and browns too. Patterned would be good and not black. I like ruffles too!
Ideal length between knee and floor.

I’m not totally set on a dress, I’ve been a couple of times before and worn jumpsuits. I do like a co-ord!
