Sleeves always too short

Although I think I'm a completely average build, the sleeves of all long-sleeved shirts and blouses are always too short for my arms. I have to fold them back as the cuffs never come anywhere near my wrists and look ridiculous. Does anyone know a brand with sleeves that are a proper length? (I'm not even particularly tall, 5ft 6" or 7").

I’m only 5 4 and find sleeves are generally just the right length for me so always wondered how tall women manage!

There's Long Tall Sally, but looking at photos of shirts on their website, the sleeves actually look too long for the models. And they use models who're 5ft 11"!! I'd be drowned in fabric 😭

I'm struggling with this too but haven't before. I reckon it's skimping on fabric by manufacturers in order to make more profit.

Yes, I have this problem. At 5’9” I am a bit short for tall brands like Long Tall Sally (and anyway I don’t like any of their clothes). It’s just trial and error really. Sometimes I go up a size, or I might look out for a design where the sleeves are likely to be longer. In general though, I think if you go slightly more up market, you have a better chance.

Relieved I'm not alone! (was starting to wonder if I've got really bizarre abnormal arms 😆). Has anyone got an opinion on Hawes & Curtis? (their formal shirts look a little bit like Charles Tyrrwit, who no longer do women's clothes).
