More details needed. Are you looking to stock your own shop? Or buying clothes for yourself or someone else? For everyday wear or a fancy dress event? Do you want new or pre-owned? What size? And how much do you want to spend?

(Were you alive during the hippie era? I was - and people who dressed like that then are now all retired and dressed in MaxMara and The Row …)

hello

thank you for this reply. I'm looking for a couple of summer skirts and pants for myself. something with the material not too heavy but more flowing.

I’d suggest:

https://www.freepeople.com/uk/whats-new/

for carefree, summery, fashionable clothes with a hippie vibe. Size availability depends on brand and cut but there’s lots of choice at a wide variety of prices.

Isn’t Disturbia more goth than hippie?

Every other shop in Glastonbury. I live in the area and get most of mine there for summer especially harem trousers. Some of them like Maya of Glastonbury have online sites.
Monsoon does a more expensive version.
M&S have a boho clothing range.
Ive also bought from Forgotten Tribes. They do some nice stuff.

The hippy clothing company, Joe Browns or Roman are worth a look.

I think you would struggle to find them in your size. What about making your own (if you are handy). You can get some lovely muslin prints in sari shops/online which would be just up your street

Ancient Earth Clothing
Forgotten Tribes
The Hippy Clothing co

The only problem with a lot of this imported from India stuff is a) very heavy cotton b) one size fits nobody. One of the shops here do one size harem pants and I struggled to get into them. Im a 10 to 12.

The Hippy Shake is really good for proper authentic looking 70s gear (abit too 'spensive for me tho!)

oh, also Joanie Clothing do some good bits. They have closed but you can find plenty on Vinted.
