BB Cream or CC Cream

What the difference between the two? What brands are good?

I have dry, mature skin (mid-40s) that can be sensitive. I use Tretanoin at night. I'm finding that foundation has been a bit heavy and drying recently.

You'll get more coverage with a cc cream. Foundation dries my skin out too so I use tinter moisturizer. NARS is the best one IMO but my shade is out of stock 😭 so recently I've been using the Merit one and I quite like it, though not as much as the nars. However it is spf50 which is brilliant.

Erborian cc creme - absolutely amazing. Its lighter in coverage than their bb creme but much better for a cheery dewy look or on slightly more mature skin. Saying g that my 20 year dd also uses it & loves it too.

Agree with Erborian CC, although my skin is very oily so I still need to use setting powder on top

I use the Erborian dull correct which is good too.

Got the Eborian CC it reminds me of a mask like foundation ( think it was Almay Complete Coverage which I wore in the 80s ) So I use it as a concealer in places . Nice glowy cover from the No7 tinted moisturiser in the grey tube - name escapes me but it’s around a tenner and very nice and gives good glow .

Erborian didn’t agree with me, same with it cosmetics (always recommended here!), Clarins is wow but only three dhades so you have to be lucky, Clinique gorgeous too. My friend lives by garnier and maybelline if you want to try something cheaper first!

Was just coming on to recommend IT Cosmetics CC cream (sorry @Morepositivemum!) which is light and glowy, like my own skin but better, and is spf40 too

I absolutely love Erborian BB crème it is amazing. Never tried the CC. What is the difference?
