Help needed to find trousersxand jeans for a petite apple

I need some recommendations for trousers and jeans. I'm 5'2 size 14 carry weight around my middle with no waist. Currently waiting for a hysterectomy for fibroids. From the front I look slim, but sideways on I look pregnant. I'm fine with tops but struggle with bottoms as anything that fits on the waist looks huge on mybslim legs. Most drawstring or elastic edges trousers make me look huge, occasionally I can find some that don't have too much material and are ok. I could do with new jeans, but wide legs are too wide, straight leg look very frumpy on me .does any have any miracle recommendations that come in a petite length.

I can recommend these. I am a very similar shape to you, and these are very flattering on.

I actually have these, they were a bit tight last time I tried them but maybe I need to order a size up.

I went for regular fit but in short length. I found the size 16 fitted very comfortably.

Following - so hard to find jeans or trousers when you’re 5ft 1in - wide leg, barrel, carrot, relaxed, mom all look like clown trousers on me. I find bootcut are better because they make my legs look a little bit longer.

You might have to consider Bon Marche. Sorry!

I have jeans from there and I don’t think anyone can tell.

What's the difference between regular short length and petite? The size guide just says short/petite = 27 inches inside leg do I don't know why they're listed separately?

I'm 5ft 1 and a half, and last time I tried petite trousers in Next they were too long. Maybe different styles differ?

So hard to find jeans & trousers at this height - M&S short used to be ok but now Short is too long and Extra Short is too short!

OP I was looking at Halara jeans/trousers recently as they have petite length. They have lots of different styles and lots of customer photos to get an idea of how they look, I haven't tried them myself though.

I’d like to know the answer to this too! I’ve never found jeans I feel good in.

I had some M&S sienna that were ok, but they don’t currently fit.

I’m 5’2 and a size 12-14 ( depending on style ), also carry weight round my middle. I have a couple of pairs from Halara, the straight leg stretch jeans are quite nice. Also next petite straight leg are good, I find I need to size up in petite sizes sometimes. Straight leg styles are probably the most flattering for me, but I do also have some barrel leg and wide leg because I like the look, and am of an age where I don’t really care if other people think I shouldn’t wear them!
I do struggle to find tops to go with them though due to the lack of waist and also annoyingly large boobs. I wish it was easier to throw on jeans and a t shirt and be happy with how I look!

You mean a petite pomme?

I once ordered both the petite and short jeans from Next to see what the difference was. There was a different product code for each one, so definitely different in some way.
From memory, the petite version felt slightly tighter on me, and also had a shorter rise so fitted lower on the waist.
The short fitted me best (size 16), but I guess it would depend on each person’s shape which pair worked best.
