Nail shapes?

I actually kind of dislike my hands as I feel like I have quite fat fingers and wish my hands were more slender, I have always struggled with the shape of my nails but have been quite liking the shape they are at the minute

do they look ok or do they make my fingers look stubbier? Any suggestions? I have to keep them fairly short for work

I don’t think they do. They’re lovely nails. Do you ask for square shape? They do looks boxy I guess so maybe ask for oval? But lovely colour. I think it’s your perception.

I just do my own nails, I did try to do oval but found because they didn’t have enough length it didn’t look quite right? Because I need to keep them short this sort of squoval shape seemed to be a good compromise but I just wasn’t sure if it was doing my chubby fingers any favours 😂

the colour is a velvet cat eye although you can’t see it in the photo! It’s trial and error getting the particles in the right place!

I think they look nice and I’m usually a square hater (I do love a short squoval though).

Mine are naturally square, but since I’ve been getting them professionally done we’ve grown them out and started to round them off and they make my fingers look so much more slender!

i absolutely love almond shaped nails but I can’t have the length to get the shape sadly, that’s the shape that looks best on my nails but this is a good compromise

I’ve always kept mine more rounded up until now and just didn’t find them very flattering on my hands

When mine were a similar length I was amazed that a nail technician was able to get a beautiful almond shape. Made my fingers look longer definitely and I was able to maintain the shape for ages.

Yours look great as they are - just mentioning because you don’t think they’re long enough for almond, and it might be tricky to do yourself but the professionals worked miracles on mine!
