Gutted. Just tried on my entire wardrobe ahead of summer as Ive reached my goal weight and half of my favourite clothes, a lovely monsoon cardigan and two uniqlo dresses are like sacks so they have to go. Plus teashirts, tracksuits, knitwear, whistles waistcoats all have to go.
I really feel I should sell them and recoup some of my money. Is vinted or ebay better.
Wouldnt it be great if we could avoid the post and just sell them at a market or car boot somewhere? Its all such a hassle.

I've found ebay better. Vinted seems to have very low priced items.

And you can search on sold items to see what things go for.

I use Vinted, had no issues at all but nothing I sell is particularly high value. I have also managed to find smaller sizes of some of my favourite items to replace the ones that I have sold.

I have sold on eBay in the past with no particular issues, I just prefer the Vinted interface and app.

Selling is less hassle if you get organised, eg have enough packaging to hand, can print your own labels, keep everything clean, folded and ready to post etc.

It is a hassle, but I’d agree that eBay is better than Vinted for selling. I’ve got a load of things to upload myself, but I keep finding other things to do…!

One thing that I did after losing weight was for some of my absolute favourite items I looked for the same again but smaller on eBay and Vinted. I was pretty successful at tracking them down and it has been great to still have the things I really liked in my ‘new’ wardrobe. I then sold the larger versions to recoup the cost and have then enjoyed buying new items to fill any other gaps.

Depop is a great selling site as well x

I found Vinted to be better than eBay, easier to list items and they mostly sold pretty much straight away so I didn’t have chance to change my mind. I’d bought mailing bags on Amazon so once things had sold I had them out of the house and at the post lockers the same day. It’s very satisfying!
