Make up for soft autumns

I’m after recommendations for a blusher and a eyeshadow that’s good for soft autumns. I have green/hazel eyes, hooded, and I’m 50.

thank you

I have blue/grey/green eyes & strawberry blonde hair, & am probably closest to a soft autumn. The two eyeshadows I use most often are both a neutral taupe shade with a slightly satiny/metallic finish. My day wear is the Elf No Budge Shadow Stick in Magnetic Pull. I've also used Copper Chic (which isn't copper, it's just a warmer brown).

If I want a more dramatic finish, I like Mac Satin Taupe eyeshadow (applied with a very slightly dampened applicator stick, as it helps it last a long time).

I've used Nars Orgasm blush for years. The formula has changed slightly & I don't like it quite as much, but haven't yet found an alternative.

Soft autumn is such a lovely palette to work with! I agree with Eleanore. The key is "muted". My suggestion for eyeshadow with hooded green hazel eyes are warm taupes, soft khakis, muted olive, and bronze tones. A deeper warm brown in the crease with a lighter champagne or soft gold on the lid. Ingredient-wise, matte or satin finishes tend to be more flattering for mature skin than heavy shimmer. A cream formula for blush especially tends to look more natural & skin-like at 50 than powder. Hope this helps!

Another vote for Nars Orgasm.
For eyes, I like Clinique Starlight Starbright duo and tight line in a soft brown.

How funny - I just looked that palette up & have the very same one!
