Ive always used Mitchum, but looking for something a bit more natural. Fussy,Make Waves and AKT are haunting my sms. I used one called Cosy cottage which was surprisingly good, but its a pot and I prefer stick. Wild turned my pits bright red. I dont sweat lots. What has worked for you?

Following. I have just ordered humble but yet to try it

hernameis · 22/03/2026 12:51

I like Fussy, it doesn't stop sweat but it does prevent any smell.

cottingleyfairy · 22/03/2026 14:18

I love Fussy and feel confident wearing it.

Coconutter24 · 22/03/2026 14:21

Another vote for Fussy especially if you don’t sweat much

Tillylils · 22/03/2026 14:23

Salt of the earth is great. I find it better than Fussy and lasts forever. I can do a gym session and I don’t smell at all afterwards.

Ohwhatfuckeryitistoride · 22/03/2026 14:24

They are currently pushing Fussy as having a long lasting scent and some are similar to well known brands-do we know which ones and us tge scent overwhelming? Must say its the one that's winning so far.

I use Fussy and it works much better than I expected (and much much better than Wild).

I also recommend Pitrok roll on, and FitPit cream in the little glass jar.

Fussy. For some reason I smell really easily, and used to wear Mitchum to deal with it as normal deodorant didn’t work. I tried Fussy with no expectation of it working and I’ve been amazed, no smell at all. Haven’t tried it out yet on the tube in high summer, that will be the ultimate test.

EvangelicalAboutButteredToast · 22/03/2026 18:02

I am trialling Wild at the moment on my stinky teenager and it’s doing a pretty good job!

dizzydizzydizzy · 22/03/2026 18:03

I also like Fussy

AdjacentPossible · 22/03/2026 18:04

PitRok crystal is great, and will literally last for ages (years?).

Justbreathagain · 22/03/2026 18:06

Fussy. I have not used any others so can't comment on them but fussy are great, smell nice and work !

Plumpciousness · 22/03/2026 18:19

I found Wild leaves residue on clothes that's hard to remove and smells sort of oily (but not of sweat). People on here have said Fussy doesn't do that but I haven't tried it. I reverted back to Tom's of Maine which I've been using for years, even though it's no longer sold in the UK and I have to buy it online.

I agree about Wild. I initially loved it, but it clogged my underarms up and I ended up having a horrible sebaceous spot. So I didn’t go back to using it.

Mine weren't sore or spotty or itchy-just bright red!
What scents do Fussy users recommend? I do not like pistachio or almond.

I like the fussy coconut fragrance.

FirstDayonthePlanet · 22/03/2026 19:19

FYI the Fussy refills fit into the Wild ‘sticks’/dispensers if you want to try one out without investing in the whole set up.

movingstars · 22/03/2026 19:33

Another vote for Fussy. And it stops sporty teen boy smelling which I thought was impossible! I love night tales and DS uses wilderness

HarryVanderspeigle · 22/03/2026 19:38

I use pitrock. It works for about 9 months of the year, but Ido revert to antiperspirant for high summer to stop the sweat rash. I did try a Wild one, but was allergic to it.

mrsCtheRed · 22/03/2026 21:24

I've been searching for years for a natural deodorant.

Pitrock- made my underarms really chapped and sore
Akt- worked really well, and smells quite spa like
Wild- I found the stick really crumbly, so when swiping it on, I ended up with pieces of it all over the floor.

Fussy is my favourite. The smells are lovely. I like quite woody or natural smells, I think the one I'm using now is called Wild Forest, or Woodland Fir or something like that?
Its really lovely, and the scent really lasts.
Also, I find that i dont sweat at all!
It also lasts really well. The pack of 3 refills usually lasts me closer to 5 months.
Oh, and lastly, if you do the online subscription, the app is really easy to use to make changes, pause etc.

Used to love Wild and it worked so well. Then they started advertising "special edition" containers, which just undermines the whole point of the brand and then I noticed the smells had gotten much stronger and I was having skin issues that I never had before. Should have realised something was going on, but an Instagram post alerted me to the fact that the owners had sold out the brand to Unilever. I cancelled my subscription due to all of the above and started using Fussy (in my existing Wild containers), I am sad to see Fussy moving to special edition cases and i hope this is not a general move away from their green credentials.

I am looking to try Akt, have heard good things.

Oh forgot pitrok-did tge same to me.
Atkinson looks good, but quite dear. There seems to be lots of fussy on vinted.
Anyone used Make Waves?
