A really good eyeliner pencil

Has anyone got a recommendation for a good eyeliner pencil please?

Looking for a deep soft brown.

I quite like the look of the Victoria Beckham line but they are expensive plus the only place which sells them anywhere close to me is still quite a distance so it would be a risk buying online without being able to actually see the product first.

I use VB in cocoa. If you get one make sure you order a sharpener at the same time.

I keep going back to rimmel kohl in sable which seems to work well for me.

Victoria Beckham or Lisa Eldridge. Both worth the expense.

I have Lisa Eldridge and VB, I like that VB has the smudged bit I actually prefer LE overall.

I’ve been using the VB for a few years and wouldn’t use anything else. I order online with no issues. I have the cocoa brown, a new denim blue one, the olive green and the silver/grey. I buy the cocoa once a year as I use it the most but the others I’ve had for 2 years or more.

I have Lisa Eldridge, VB, Jones Road. I like JR for a day to day brown. It’s a matt brown, slightly drier so doesn’t smudge off. It’s a traditional kohl pencil and stays all day. The LE ones I have are more sparkly and good for the evening, but a bit greasier so go on very smoothly, but can smudge a bit. The VB ones are pretty much identical to the LE ones, even down to the colour. Are they better than your standard No7 ones? I don’t think so, but they have a good range of colours.

Do other sharpeners not fit the brand?

I use eyeliner every day , the only ones I now buy are from avon, glimmer sticks in cosmic brown and my absolute favourite one power stay in mocha brew, both stay on all day without smudging.
Power stay has a sharpener in the end ad can be applied fine or wider for a smudgey finish.

Estee Lauder is what I use

I love the VB ones - goes on like magic - but I am oily and they don't last the day without a topup.

Hands down best one I've found - having tried various premium brands like Lancome etc - Soap and Glory Smoulder Kohl. Unfortunately I can't see it in any colour other than black!

Avon Glimmersticks. They are only a few pounds on Amazon and stay on including your waterline all day.

I have the VB sharpener but prefer the No7 one i got a boots. I don't find her eyeliners east to sharper but they are really good. I have cocoa, cinnamon and a plain black and really rate them

I have risked it and ordered a VB (plus sharpener) as found a discount code and free shipping which tipped me over the edge.

I will have at the Avon ones too though as they look like a bargain plus it will be a bit of nostalgia because I haven’t used Avon for decades.

Mine came with a sharpener.

Maybelline Tattoo liner in Smokey Brown is very good as a budget choice and Huda Creamy Khol in very brown is good too but three times the price! Both transfer proof, I’ve used VB and Estée Lauder double wear ones, but prefer these. Benefit also used to do a good brown, but it’s been discontinued now. Urban Decay are long lasting and a good range of colours.

Always VB.

I even tried Wonderskin and it was so disappointing. it literally washed off with water. 🤪

I have the VB one and I hated it, it always spread down my face to give an Alice Cooper vibe!
I have the Trinny one and it doesn’t do that, I really like it. But the key is face primer and setting spray.
