Handbag with clasp only?

I’ve just bought a medium sized black leather bag with a shoulder strap. It has a small internal zip pocket (inside wall). It has a small magnetic clasp in the middle iyswim but no main zip. There are definite gaps at the end

Sorry for the (maybe) daft question but would this put you off? Am I going to be forever finding keys etc falling out if it gets knocked over?

Hoping for personal experiences of clasp only bags please! 😀 I like the bag; it’s half price but at over £200 sale price it’s more than I normally spend on a bag.

PS where the clasp is, the leather slightly folds over. I’m probably overthinking this

You're overthinking. My main bag is a Mulberry with a magnetic popper in the middle. It's fine.

It would put me off, personally, as I sometimes drop my bag.

Loads of places do bag organiser inserts with extra pockets. Zippered compartments. Straps for water bottles etc. you can pick the entire thing up and swap it to a different bag too.

I was thinking maybe there would be a solution with organiser inserts, or rather a smaller bag inside a bag if that wouldn’t be too much faff @D20

Have you any recommendations of where to get them?
