Anybody else feel like they are living life in a different tax bracket when it comes to some of the suggestions on here?
Not that I begrudge people having money to spend, I'd love to be able to shop in some of the places mentioned but my budget is more Primark and supermarkets in general. My maximum spend for an item is around £60 and that would be rarely and something I really wanted. Although it has made me very good at shopping sales and Vinted!😄
I think you can find good stuff at lower prices though and I don't think most people can tell much difference if it's styled well.

I’ve come back to add that I’ve just done a wardrobe declutter and notice that the recycle pile is almost all supermarket clothes. The fabrics are just not nice, and I think it’s not possible to look stylish in polyester. I’ve tried to prove myself wrong, but the discard pile speaks for itself!

I lost a fair bit of weight over the last year so needed a new wardrobe. I already knew wear colours suited me so did a lot of research around what styles I wanted to weat and wha4 would work with my frame.
i buy almost exclusively second hand.
i have an app on my phone with my clothes added and I look for inspiration online.
ive never dressed better and have bagged some amazing clothes i never could have bought new.

I've also bought second hand for most of my adult life. But I'm very grateful that not everyone shops like me because, if there were no women buying expensive clothes and then discarding them before they're worn out, then I wouldn't have much of a wardrobe. My clothes don't come from nowhere!
