Day Drinking Outfits

I'm going out next weekend with friends for lunch and a bit of pub/bar hopping and want to get something new to wear - what should I be looking for?!

Approaching 40, 5'9 size 14-16 and looking for something that works with flats/trainers rather than heels.

Anyone seen/bought anything recently they think might fit the bill?

I always do table top dressing for day drinking, dressy on top comfy on bottom. Pick jeans in a style that suits you/you love, add a dressy top, so strappy camisole, or little blouse. Flats that suit the cut of the jeans. Makeup and hair done, lots of jewellery

What shoes are you going to wear?

This is what jeans and a nice top was invented for surely. Also will depend on the weather, my other go to is a dress and flat boots but might be too warm
