What shoes to wear with this sage midi dress to a wedding?

Any advice or links appreciated for shoes to wear with this dress for a May wedding!

I want to wear heels but nothing too high/strappy/thin of a heel as I’m not overly good at walking in them. Would a block heel be too thick for the dress? Am thinking gold perhaps or maybe nude/silver/cream?

Ideally under £50!

I think the dress wants silver rather than gold, or perhaps taupe leather. And something strappy. So if it also needs to be solid of foot, she has a good idea.
