Looking for prom style dress we can try on (evening dress).

My daughter likes this dress (and I don't mind the price). But I have heard bad things about ordering from this web site. Does anyone know a shop in the UK woth similar. (I was thinking more of a high street department store, dress shop or even online in the UK rather than a specialist prom dress shop where they are ££££ and I worry we'll be sucked in to spending too much).

House of CB in London has some evening dresses you can try on.

I've also heard awful things about this website. They claim the dresses are customer made to your measurements to get around the laws on being able to return items if they don't fit. House of CB might be your best bet but also have a look on John Lewis website
