Help me dress for wedding

Looking for ideas for a dress to wear for a wedding. Im 5ft size 16.large bust with extended tummy.nothing I try is flattering on me..

You probably look similar to me. I find a v neck line (potentially cross over with a stitch to keep it in place) and flared but structured skirt is most flattering. Jersey being stretchy probably actually looks best but I’ve had success with stiffer fabrics as long as it flares. Never look sideways on in a mirror, it’s just depressing (though it’s my fault for too many calories nothing more)

Whistles did a cocoon style short sleeved crepe v neck dress which would be below knee on you at 5ft, I’d consider something like that with lovely shoes, bag and earrings, I have it in pink, navy, burgundy, black, years old but when in doubt I still pull them out! I’ll try to find it on Vinted for you, it skims and is just a classic style.

I have had some success with Boden petite range - flared skirt looks best like a ppp said.

for maxi style dresses I also like Pink city prints - but I buy on tinted becasue they are pricey

This is the Whistles style…it looks so much better on!

This Phase Eight style is also very good, it’s double thickness so you feel held in and all the ruching is very flattering
