Seborrheic dermatitis face wash for autistic teenager - must be clear and fragrance free!

My 16 yr old DS has increasingly flaky skin across his forehead/eyebrows/nose - presumably seborrheic dermatitis as it runs in the family. I am also prone to it but just give my face the odd lather with nizoral shampoo and that keeps it under control!

But DS is autistic with severe sensory issues and deeply suspicious of any sort of lotion or potion. I've managed to get him using an Aveeno oat based face wash but it took nearly 3 years for him to accept it and start using it most days 😬 There is absolutely no chance he will agree to using a different or additional product, or a cream afterwards!

So I need to find something that will help his skin but it must be clear and fragrance free, so I can gradually mix it in with the one he uses already and basically sneak it up on him.

Any suggestions?

PS I can't sneak the nizoral in as it's bright bloody red 😂

Cera Ve is fragrance free and clear. I use the foaming cleanser in the shower which works for my skin but there are others in the range which don't foam if thats better sensory wise. Trial some and see if any work.

I have seborrheic dermatitis and eczema.

Oh fantastic thanks, that was one of the brands I was considering. Non foaming will definitely be less problematic.

Is the aveeno clear? Because I use The Ordinary Squalene cleanser with is non foaming but isn’t clear. It’s white though.

I also have seb derm.

No it's sort of beige and opaque. But I can sneak something clear in with it!

You want Bioderma Sensibio DS + Cleaning gel which is a clear gel, fragrance free & formulated specifically for clearing up seb derm.
