Monsoon Dress Sizing

Just wondering what their sizing is like.
I’m usually 16 but some brands can be tight fitting so have to go up to an 18.
Are Monsoon true to size ?

I can only speak for their older stock which I have always found true to slightly generous. Certainly not small.

Definitely size up for anything with a zip!

@deeahgwitch , I’m a size 10/12 in M&S I would buy 8/10 from Monsoon, I find their clothing very generously sized.

Can agree with the sizing up if it has a zip… have now bought a THIRD dress off Vinted to get one that does up

im a 10, I’ve had to get a 14 for the zip.

ok, I box, I have strong back/lats, but still. I’m going to have to have the hips taken in on this final dress I think.

They are huge. I’d size down

It could be this particular dress… I’ve never had this before with any brand I’ve used before

I've only tried a few things from Monsoon recently and they were all dresses with zips. I definitely needed to size up.

I was in Monsoon today & tried on some blouses. I am 5' 8" & normally a 14/16, depending on cut, with big boobs. I tried on a 14 & a large, & both were far too big for me. I would definitely size down.

I find them genuinely true to size for dresses and hopeless for trousers. It's been a while since I shopped there but it felt as if they assumed that their dresses would be purchased by hourglasses (me!) but their trousers wouldn't 😆
