What to wear with wide leg black cords for casual bar party?

I almost never wear anything other than jeans & sweater - super casual

Now I have a 50th birthday party to go to. I have some wide legged black cords from Next but what do I wear on top??

I’m a size 18 with large boobs (new bra prob needed!) down from a size 24 this time last year (4.5 stones down)

I don’t even know what sort of things people wear. It’s casual ish in a bar

I have short grey hair in an asymmetric style and am clueless.

Stylish people please help me look good

I have wide legged black cords and often wear them with a block colour satin blouse. It's the right mix of made an effort but not too dressy.

I wear mine with a Tory Birch leopard print blouse and vans

There are a few leopard print shirts/tops in H&M atm including a high neck blouse which could look quite funky tucked in.

Would be gorgeous with this blouse. I bought it to wear over Christmas and absolutely love it .

To answer your questions I don’t really have a budget, happy to spend up to £100 for something I love.

I’ve basically avoided buying clothes as I’m only half way through my hopeful weight loss. Basically bought some jeans and a few cheap primark tops to tide me over 😆

I could do with a whole wardrobe revamp but don’t want to do it until I’m without touching distance of my target (which at the rate I’m going will be about a decade!!)

H and m satin shirts, they do lots of colours and are a bit longer which i like. I have them in 3 colours and really enjoy wearing them with wide leg black trousers. Not too expensive either!
