Alternatives to Bravissimo Satine

Can anyone recommend an alternative to a Bravissimo satine? This is the only bra i find comfy and it’s discontinued. I like the elastic by the armpit as I have bad posture.

I want a new black bra. I take a 32ff in a satine.

Hopeful bump

What? The Satine discontinued? Surely not! It’s the only bra I’ve worn for years. Every 2-3 years I go into Bravissimo to try and find an alternative, and I only ever come out with Satines.

Bugger!

SorrelForbes · 11/03/2026 22:39

@marriednotdead might no. Encyclopedic knowledge.

MrsCarmelaSoprano · 11/03/2026 22:41

I'm confused, it's still available on line.

Thanks for the prod @SorrelForbes <waves>
There’s no obvious solution at the moment although a few people have been ok with Panache Faith (in a cup down) their niya lace or ultimate comfort plunge that they thought would be a smoother ‘upgrade’. The reality is that it’s a way less projected shape and is nowhere near the equivalent of satine.
If enough people demand it, they are more likely to consider the return of satine. I’d strongly suggest that you email them and tell them that nothing else works 😉

They’re not currently producing any new ones and they have sold out of the black in many sizes.

I’m in the same boat 😔 the ultimate comfort bra is meant to be a good alternative according to reviews but I’ve never tried it yet….

I have just ordered some Satines. That should put off the frustrations of trying to find a new bra for a couple of years.

Overthemoun · 20/03/2026 21:31

Just in case this helps anyone, I just tried on the ultimate comfort and it is quite different. Gaping at the top and digging into the armpit, giving armpit fat too. The shape is more balcony with less flexibility around the armpit

Oh no!! Best bra ever. Barring pregnancy it’s all I’ve worn for about 15 years.

Whatisthisperihell · 21/03/2026 07:19

This is awful news. The best bra I've ever had. Please update if someone finds a good replacement.

Magicisuponus · 21/03/2026 07:28

I'm gutted too!
There are none in my size left otherwise I would have stocked up.

I accidentally stumbled up M&S flexifit wired full_cup tshirt bra (the satin one I had 32F, but I have found 32E in the m&s one fits well.

I do hole bravissimo bings the Satine one back though

marriednotdead · 22/03/2026 10:40

Sorry, I forgot to add this earlier! If you can live with the lace overlay, Bravissimo Nellie was cut on the Satine pattern. It is fractionally bigger in the cup but the shape is the same.

Thank you. Worth a try then

Thanks for saying, I’m going to try one too!
Would you need to go up a cup in this do you think?

Up from what? If you usually wear Satine then I’d order the same size.

Yes the satine as you mentioned the Nellie being slightly bigger in the cup 🙂

For the vast majority, the same size works. Occasionally if the Satine is a little loose at the top or centre of the cup, then it is worth trying a cup size smaller.

Another one missing the Satine here! I didn’t like the fit of the Ultimate Comfort either but found the Deco Fascinate a good alternative so maybe worth a try for you?
