Petite jeans this season - any ideas?! Not bought jeans in years! 5 ft 1, size 12ish

Help -I haven't bought a pair of jeans in years. I actually think I've been living in leggings since Covid times! I only have skinnies festering in my wardrobe
I'm 5 ft 1 , size 12ish, bit of a tummy but used to be hourglass!
Am going shopping with DD tomorrow - there will be a H n M, J Lewis, M n S and New Look.
I ordered some different looser styles from M n S a while back but sent them all back - the carrot ones looked good online were just too massive

Any ideas of what I could try on? Or order online? Prefer dark washes

Sorry OP I'm just here to pick up ideas. I haven't bought new jeans since about 2006, currently wearing some very old boot cut jeans. I would love a new pair. But at 4ft 10 and size 12 they are tricky to find. Looking on here the heads up seems to be for extra short jeans from M&S or supermarket jeans.

River island are really good and have an XXshort length. I like the relaxed straight style.

Thanks both, should add am not averse to skinny jeans I just don't think I'd get into mine now, and am bit curvy so they were never the most flattering for me anyway!!

M&S or Next are best, IME. I just bought a lovely pair of dark wash straight jeans from M&S, they are high rise & flattering on the stomach.

Hi, I’m the same size/ shape as you ( 5.3 on a good day 😉 really 5.2). I get the Eva bootcut ( £26) and Sienna straight (£46) in short from M&S. Got dark washes and black. HTH

I like New Look, Topshop and Abercrombie for petite jeans. Also Uniqlo sometimes have options if you have an inside leg length of 29", which at 5 '1 is what I am.

My favourites are m and s and next however I have to buy them online as they don't stock extra short in my local m and s. I have skinny (body sculpting) from next and Sienna (straight leg) from m and s.

I’m 5ft 1in and a ‘generous’ size 12. I have the Sienna straight leg jeans and they fit, but they are very stretchy so they do get baggy after a few wears. M&S are great for petite people!

I've just bought some stovepipe jeans from Next which I'm really pleased with - I'm a petite 12 hourglass shape and they are flattering! I actually got the regular length as they are ankle grazer. Petite jeans are so hard to find!
