Are perfume dupes any good?

Specifically ‘Portrait of a Lady’. Anyone buy a good dupe of this?

I've bought dupes in lidl. Can't remember what they were duping but they're perfumes are gorgeous. About £7 if I recall correctly.

Some of the Noted Aroma ones aren’t bad

I’ve tried various from Noted Aromas, Perfume Parlour and Dossier. I’ve not found any of them to be good dupes despite the many rave reviews.

They do 5ml testers of their fragrances, so you don't have to buy a large bottle first off.

I’d second The Essence Vault - I wear Halfeti by Penhaligon’s quite a lot and their dupe is pretty good

Perfume parlour are hit and miss. They do a fantastic dupe of gucci envy and black pomegranate but I've tried others that smell like soap or extremely cheap so I'd say it's worth a try if it's a perfume you love that's discontinued or very expensive, but don't expect perfection.

I had a Portrait of a Lady dupe from Match and I had a small sample of the original which was DIVINE
The dupe was okay but I wouldn't buy it again
I preferred their Halfeti dupe but I sometimes wonder if the small samples smell better than the bottles to make you buy them 🤔

Some are good dupes but I find the smell doesn’t last long. You may as well buy the original as you’re forever re-spraying
