Lovely friends 50th, she's asked a couple of us for a new necklace as we've bought for previous birthdays. She's a very practical not fancy person and wears lots of t-shirts. She wants a shorter type necklace not long. I don't think she'd want a Tiffany type thing. Maybe the fancy end of m and s (we've bought her sparks things before) looking to spend up to £100 ISH. She likes chunky funky more than delicate but happy to consider all if anyone has any ideas for something that will look and feel a bit special? Tia

Coeur de Lion do short necklaces with gemstones in different colours. Chunky, funky made me think of them. If you know what colours she likes or wears most you could get something quite personal to her.

I've bought a few things from Willow and Twigg. Kelly is the jeweller and she has some pretty things at reasonable prices. Silver mostly, and a mix of simple but quirky items. Own website but also on Etsy.

Have a look at “five rings for five decades” necklaces.
