Silent, Heat‑Isolating Slippers

Not sure this belongs in Style & Beauty 😅

We have underfloor heating, which is difficult for me because heat increases the pain in my legs.

I usually walk barefoot or in socks, but I’m looking for slippers with a sole thick enough to insulate me from the floor’s warmth.

Ideally, they should also be made from a material that’s very quiet, as my partner works nights and is a very light sleeper.

Bonus points if they are machine washable.

I have no idea what to look for 😬 Thank you!

I think you're best off with natural sheepskin slippers because they're temperature regulating. You can buy sheepskin insoles online too to thicken the sole if needed.

Thanks @DoIdriveaVauxhallZafira 😊 I’ll give them a try! I didn’t realise some sheepskin slippers can be machine washed 👍

Should be OK on a cold wash if machine washing. Lots of affordable ones on etsy if you don't want to risk an expensive pair!
