Please advise on shoes and jewellery for this dress

Hello Mumsnetters - would be grateful your help in finding shoes and jewellery for this dress. It’s for an evening wedding.

The dress already has sequins so I’m not sure if any jewellery is appropriate? And I’m wondering if I need to stick with nude sandals like the model. I never wear heels but even I can see the dress demands them, so would be grateful for a steer towards the comfiest possible heels. and I’ll try to post a pic as well. Thanks in advance! for any suggestions

I don’t think you need to wear heels with that dress at all. Especially if you don’t like them. Do you prefer gold or silver jewellery? I would only wear earrings, not a necklace.

The nude open toed sandals they have paired it with are horrible. I don't like open toed sandals with formal dresses and I don't like nude shoes so they tick both boxes. It looks as if she's got bare feet.

I wouldn't wear a necklace with that dress. Stud earrings, maybe pearl and possibly a gold or silver bracelet, but only because I already own them. I wouldn't buy especially.

Shoes - a low, pointy toed kitten heel, navy patent or silver, but Everlil said I don't think there's any need to wear heels at all. Completely flat pumps would be fine too.

Thank for these posts. I’d love it if I could get away with low shoes. I tend to wear more silver than gold jewellery

It's not a dress that needs dressing up further. "Understated" is such an MN S&B cliché when it comes to jewellery but for once it's probably right. One silver bracelet would be fine, but nothing round your neck, and smallish silver earrings.

Re shoes, as well as navy or silver I would probably try red, pink, winey purple, and a red, white and navy multi colour because I have a selection of dressy flats in those colours in patent and velvet.

Silver sling backs - closed or open toe whichever is your preference. With a sliver clutch and a wrap if it gets cold.

Simple silver bracelet or bangle and necklace with simple drop earrings.
