What is it called when veins on your face are thin and quite dark and visible? Is it thread veins? What can I do about these?

I have a patch on my cheek where you can see my veins very clearly. I currently cover them with concealer but thought there might be a way to get rid of them completely. Can anyone relate, and has anyone had any kind of procedure to blitz them? If so, can you tell me about it?

I’m openly asking here as an alternative to googling and researching it myself, so thank you in advance. This is always a great starting point.

IPL. Works wonders but stings like fuck - like being snapped with a rubber band.

As pp said IPL works great but stings like he'll. Worth it though.

I have had IPL too. I found it ok and oddly relaxing, until she caught my upper lip, that made my eyes water! I have had good results. I had 2 sessions, couldn't afford a third but I will go back at some point.
Worth every penny

Fab, thank you! Looks unanimous so I will find somewhere local. I had laser eye surgery and laser hair removal so can probably take the twinges - feels do-able. Thanks so much for your help.
